RE: Culinary Craft
Soo, I tried my best. I hope you like it! ;)
EDIT: I just noticed I accidentally uploaded the "bordered" pics, but I have them all in a clean version, so I can replace them if needed.
Sorry for any inconvenience!

This is Adele, she's a sweet and playful family/grilled cheese sim. As you can tell, her favourite food is grilled cheese. She's not that good at cooking, the kitchen is very essential. She preferred using most of the space by placing a table for 4 people, so that she can invite her friends over for a pizza (or for some grilled cheese).
Since there's a bright-coloured floor, Adele chose simple and light colours for the furnishing and for the walls - light wood and white. Simple, matching light wood blinds work as curtains. A particular lightning is added by the tiny lights around the shelves and the backdoor.

RE: Culinary Craft
Well here's Mine, It's a simple Kitchen for my single loner Sim who love's to cook and want's fresh veggies on hand at all times. She very clumsily so dislikes cluttered areas and things that get in her way.

There is a Image of her growing her plants in the Indoor herb and veggie garden for the nice salads that she so enjoys.

RE: Culinary Craft
Wow - two more entries!

Alexschmidt: Yay for sims2.... I like the room, great use of the colours on the funky appliances to give those points of colour in an otherwise plain room. It has a quirky feel - I can believe that this sim is obsessed by grilled cheese. Im not sure what it is, but the room looks like it belongs to a twenty something. Great work - but erm, where's the overhead shot? I like those because then I can sort of scroll up and down the post checking out the pics against the overhead.

RE: Culinary Craft
Thanks so much!! It's always hard for me to deal with relatively small rooms.
Ehm, feels like I'm really dumb today XD I totally forgot to take an overhead picture, and I deleted the lot like one hour ago... I'm so sorry!! sad
Anyway, wendylady, I love the idea of a "garden-in-the-kitchen"! And I like how you combined the green and orange hues!

Wendylady - what a creative thing to do! I would never of thought of an indoor garden, but it looks awesome. I also really like that green orange combo - I think we did similar set up in one of the "three colour"articles in the mag. You have used a good colour combo to get that natural feel that matches your sim. I'm loving that little bar nook too.

Thanks Alex, I was trying for some thing different and more homely. Thou your looks very Cool and warm at same time. I don't have a lot of CC in my game do to it running so slow but where did you get the shelf the micros sitting on? and can you share your cupboards too. IF ya can't post it here just pm me all the goodies smile Even if its just a where to go.

leesester: Did not know it was in one of the magz ill have to go look that up only read #11 that just came out. I use to do make up for people and we have to fallow a 4 color rule that made the skin tone come out.. I took that and picked a base color as my tone.

RE: Culinary Craft
Hi everyone
Here is my entry for this challenge, it's totally non-functional so points off there-I thought the "round and through blocks" would work on the chairs but alas not. So as to not have to think about this too much I decided to create a kitchen for my own family. As a family kitchen it is also an art studio, reading room and toilet-only until the little one learns to go himself-although I'm not sure if the potty is any of the pics.

Ooops, seems the kitchen table and chairs are functional so em, can I have my points back? You know I had no idea that chalkboard existed in the game until I had to go looking for modern stuff, lol.

Lol ! You can have you points back...although I dont think I have anything to say about that ;).
Very nice kitchen Donna ! Loving the way you used the space, it really does feel lived in and you coörperated all the elements, like pottie's and other childfriendly things very very well !
