Hello,
I am sure the French and apologize in advance for my English. I already know for some time this forum and especially the magazine, but I never got really stop, is now done, I put my bags ^ ^.
I am 19 years old, I am fascinated by the sims 2 and 3, I love the graphics of where my job later that is to become graphic designer.
What I like in the sims build and decorate it but also make designs in photoshop with the sims.

I want to clarify a few things about the challenge me to concept:

Challenging someone
- When you challenge someone, make sure the challenge can be finished within a few hours work. You should not challenge people to projects that will take weeks to finish. Think of something that could be done in one or two playing sessions.

- When you give a challenge, try not to give people too many inspiration pictures in conflicting styles unless that is an intended part of the challenge to combine the 2 styles.

- Make sure to state clearly who you are challenging. If more than one person challenges someone, this person will have to pick between the challenges.

Asking for a challenge + being challenged
- When someone give you a challenge, try to do your very best in the time you can use on it. Don't rush into the job. I think most challenges will take at least an hour to complete.

- If a challenge does not interest you, you may turn it down and nobody should have any hard feeling over that. It is not your duty to take up a challenge that: does not inspire you, is too hard, too easy or that you for some reason don't like. However know that you should try to push your self a bit with the challenges.

- If you are a beginner, please say so then you ask for a challenge, so people can give you a challenge that fits your skill level.

- Remember to state what game and what Expansion Pack you have.

- If there is something you want to get better at, or a particular style you want to practice, then please say so in your challenge request.

Terms and how to read them
- Recreate: If the term "recreate" is used, you should try to get as close to the original picture as you can. You should try to get the colours, textures and furniture as close as possible to what is shown .

- Inspiration pictures are meant to inspire you. You need not recreate the exact same thing as is on the pictures. You should however take inspiration from the style, colours details etc. on the picture.

sorry I haven't been on in a while-real life has gotten in the way

anyway I am currently in a cc overhall cus my installing system was out of date and my cc was extremely disorganised when I encountered a problem. I'm posting it here incase anyone else gets it. It's to do with certain patterns. You should NOT put it in to package format as you then can not use CAStyle. Instead you have to install via the launcher which is extremely annoying! oh by the way if any one can think of a better way you cud post it here. I just posted this here cus it took me ages to figure this out so I hope it helps someone.

p.s I've installed alot of most of thes patterns via the lauchar and it hasn't slowed down my game but it cud be different with other computers as my computer is quite fast.

Your sim got their hands on a tiny peice of un-developed land and now they have become his/her own architect! Their budget was stretched for the contractors and the land, but the furnishing is a different story. Wanting something to remember their home with, they brought 5 pieces of furniture along with them, but the rest they will have to buy, so you better start helping them out!

Task
You build a house on the 10 x10 lot, . You can make however many sims you want. You can add any interior walls, doors, windows, pools... whatever you want and you can decorate the space any way you want as well. Take pictures of your sims, the space and write a little bit about the sims and the space!

Rules

10x10 lot
Bed, fridge, cooker, toilet, shower/bath, a work-space must be inside
five items must be identived as the "old" furniture (just write what they are)
Max 10 pictures. Overview is required. You may link to an album with more
At least one picture must show the sim(s) living there
You may enter up to 3 times

... decent, playable ones that aren't glitchy? I'm bored witless with Riverview and Sunset Valley - and Twinbrooks has already lost it's appeal.
The few neighbourhoods I've peered at, have a list of issues as long as your arm. I want to play the game, not watch it spontaneously combust.
I've already trawled through MTS and there's naff all there that I want, and I can't find any on TSR.

Hey, I am Untitled not the most creative username I know. But anyway, I registered yesterday but didn't have the nerve to introduce myself 'till today.

I found this site will looking for downloads for my sims 3 houses (I love designing houses) or to be more exact I found one of your magazines. I loved the rooms/houses featured there so I decided to join the forum and here I am now. :D

Can't get the data base sims in my game

Okay for the life of me I cant not figure out what I am doing wrong. I have downloaded sims before and they show up, but for some reason the Jenkins, the Kelps and another sim I got from somewhere else aren't appearing in my game. I tried doing it through the installer, I tried making them package files and doing it that way, I tried moving them to the saved sims folder..nothing.

All the other saved sims I have look like the pacakage file icon (that little monkey face)

I noticed with these ones when I changed them to package files it says "package file" and not "sim file" like the rest.

Hello! I'm new here, altough I used to be a member on the older forum, but I didn't have much free time and I ended up leaving, and after many months away I'm coming back.

I'm a Interior Design student in a University in my Country, and now that The Sims 3 has enough custom content to decorate and create beautiful rooms, I'm playing again.

Record Clutter - New Mesh

Hi all!

I needed to take another break from paintings so I decided I needed a bit of clutter. There are 4 pieces of clutter included. An empty Peaches crate, a crate with records in it, the scattered records and the leaning records. The wood on the crates are recolorable. There are 3 textures for each of the scattered records, leaning records and the crate with the records in it. For those of you too young to know this, Peaches was a record and cassette tape company back in the 80's which was huge! When you walked into Peaches, there were rows and rows of these crates full of the latest albums. Their crates are just a small symbol of nostalgia from that era. There are very few of these crates around today. At any rate, there are both package files and sims 3 pack files included in the zip. Have fun!
